Our story
The story of Dev Tattva did not start as a business idea.
It started at home.
I grew up in a family where pooja paath was a part of everyday life. From childhood, I have seen my mother, my grandfather, and the entire family giving great importance to spirituality.
My grandfather, Pandit Shri Om Prakash Saxena Ji, is a respected pandit with over 72 years of experience in Puja, Paath and traditional Karmakand rituals. He is also associated with Shanti Kunj, Haridwar.
Today he is 94 years old, and even at this age, his dedication to faith is incredible.
Watching him throughout my life had a deep impact on me. Faith was never something that was forced on us, it was simply the way we lived.
Every year when we bring Ganpati to our home in Mumbai, it is my grandfather who comes to perform the Ganpati sthapana.
About four or five years ago, during one such conversation, my grandfather said something that stayed with me.
He said that many pooja products today are not as pure as they used to be in the past.
That thought stayed in my mind.
I started thinking: what if we could create a company that provides pooja products with purity and authenticity, just like they used to be earlier?
That idea became the seed for Dev Tattva.
Pandit Shri Om Prakash Saxena Ji
Pandit Shri Om Prakash Saxena Ji is a respected and integral member of the Dev Tattva family. At the remarkable age of 94, he continues to remain active, inspiring generations with his profound knowledge, devotion, and lifelong dedication to Sanatan Dharma.
With over 72 years of experience in Puja, Paath, and various traditional Karmakand rituals, he brings decades of spiritual wisdom and practical understanding of Hindu religious traditions. He is also associated with Shanti Kunj, Haridwar, a renowned centre for spiritual learning and practice.
His life is a testament to unwavering faith, selfless service, and the preservation of India's rich spiritual heritage. Through his knowledge and guidance, Pandit Ji continues to uphold the timeless traditions of Sanatan Dharma and share their significance with future generations.
Why the name Dev Tattva
The name Dev Tattva comes from two words.
Together, Dev Tattva represents the essence of the divine.
Our intention is simple: to bring spiritual products to people in their purest and most authentic form.
How Dev Tattva began
Although the idea came to me around 4 to 5 years ago, I did not want to rush it.
I wanted to understand the space properly, prepare the right systems, and build something that truly respects the faith people place in these products.
After years of preparation, learning, and planning, we are finally able to bring Dev Tattva to you.
We are starting this journey with spiritual idols, especially car dashboard idols, because every journey in life deserves a blessing.
But Dev Tattva will not stop here.
Our vision for the future
Dev Tattva is only beginning with idols. In the coming years, we plan to expand into many other spiritual and pooja-related products, including:
